We are currently doing this for some our clients in our data center. It is not a high availability system, but every night the clients system sends us the journaled files changes over the internet, and they are then automatically applied to our back up system. We are also doing it for one of our clients systems that sits in our data center, and the backup machine is in JAX FLA. If anyone is interesting in discussing a solution, please contact me off line. cjg -----Original Message----- From: midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Cletus Robinson Sent: Thursday, September 15, 2005 1:04 AM To: Midrange Systems Technical Discussion Subject: Remote Offsite Backup Anyone thinking or doing a type of backup via the net to a hot site or other service? With Katrina passing through down here in Louisiana, I'm getting calls from clients about this. Cletus -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Anti-Virus.
