My point being is that using V3R2 as the 'previous version' on any V4R5 box or earlier allows you to support any RISC box and a V3R2 CISC box. In other words. V4R5 will not compile down to V3R7, so compile on your V4R5 box down to V3R2. And save it to a save file using TGTRLS(V3R2). Then you can restore it on a V3R7 box. Then again, outside of your internal system, what's the earliest version you had to send a fix or a new sale to, in the last year? Rob Berendt
