Well.... the schedule grids are already on the COMMON website www.common.org I'd say take a look and see how busy you want to be. Don in DC On Sat, 3 Sep 2005, Jen Raihala wrote:
Well, I am planning on a more business casual type (but I will pack my blue jeans). DO you know where I can email to alert the First Timer COMMON volunteer mentors that I will be totally lost? I used the link from the COMMON site on Thursday, but the email bounced saying the address was bad? (possibly full?). Will there be a "free" evening or two? I do have friends in the Orlando area and they would love to pick me up and take me out for dinner one evening. As it is just me, I dont plan on going to Disney World (this time *wink and evil grin*) --- JOberholtzer@xxxxxxxxxxxx wrote:COMMON is very casual and you will find most folks in jeans and golf shirt. I personally long for the day when it was all business casual or better, but times have changed. Do be careful about one aspect of all convention centers, particularly in the south. The air conditioning can go from too warm to icebox in about 3 nanoseconds. Be prepared for several different temperatures in the rooms. Almost all of the restaurants etc accept casual clothes. If you do get over to the Disney properties, anything legal gos..... Most of all: Learn lots and have fun!
