Re: IXS W2003 Server SP1

I had no problem applying SP1 on 5 different Win2003 server IXS cards over
the last few weeks.  The PTFs and Integration Synch were the trickiest part
(and not very tricky at that...).  To just install it via Windows Update
takes FOREVER on the download step.  If possible, I would download it
separately and kick off the install via the downloaded package instead of
Windows Update.  It did require a reboot after the SP1 installed.  Also,
once you've installed SP1, run Windows Update again and you'll pick up a
set of 7 or so additional updates that install relatively quickly.  They
also required a reboot I think...

It looks like the Windows Firewall for 2003 does not enable itself by
default with the SP1 install (unlike WinXP SP2 did).

I'm ready to install SP1 of W2003 Server on my IXS card.  I am up to snuff
on PTFs and the Windows Integration stuff.

Those that have already done it:

How long did it take?
I assume it required a reboot of the IXS?
Everything run OK after?

I just need to do it at a time when the thin clients are idle.  Probably
VPN
from home tonight.
