Vary on Pending SOLVED, sort of

Hello all,

Thanks for all the replies, I did not manage to get this fixed by getting the 
screen varied on, instead I found an old Jet Direct gizmo in the cupboard and 
used that so the label printer is now connected directly to the network and I 
use the IP address to set up the output queue and device description. So the 
old terminal can now die peacefully as far as I am concerned I will just put it 
in the store and hope if the console screen ever goes that this one will work.
