Is "Word Wrap" in Notepad turned off? -----Original Message----- From: midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of GKern@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Tuesday, August 23, 2005 2:10 PM To: midrange-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: V5R3 CPYTOIMPF 'bug'? I searched the archives but didn't find anything relevant to my problem... I'm using the following statement to drop a file into the IFS and then FTP it to a Win2K server. Upon arrival on the server, when I open the file using notepad, the file shows two blank lines between each record. This also happens if I copy the file from the IFS and paste it to my desktop and I view it with notepad. In the IFS the file looks as it should - it shows no blank lines between the records. I tried changing some of the parms such as *STDASCII to *PCASCII and all of the valid RCDDLM values but nothing corrects the problem. CCSID is 37. This used to work with no problems and it appears to have started this behaviour immediatly after upgrading to V5R3. We have all the current PTF's. Any input is appreciated.
