Is your field in the dds for the screen a type S or something else? The S is for a signed numeric. I must be having a brain flat. I have looked and can not find examples. I am feeling really stupid about now. I have a field that is numeric on the screen. How does one set the screen so that a enter(-) is not a "}" on the screen? I use an edit code, but that is only effective after the screen is processed and rewritten. --------------------------------- Booth Martin http://www.martinvt.com --------------------------------- -- This is the Midrange Systems Technical Discussion (MIDRANGE-L) mailing list To post a message email: MIDRANGE-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/midrange-l or email: MIDRANGE-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l.
