Glen, just did one for a client doing something very similar to a Zebra (it
was a Citizen thermal Label printer). We used a wireless print server that
just connected on the parallel port, and had the print server and antenna
built right in. It did need external power though.

Both the Zebra and Citizen use a proprietary control language that you will
need to embed into your RPG. Neither printer will support printing barcodes
with AFPDS. We ended up getting the TL Ashford software to drive the
printers. It works like a champ.

Subject: Zebra Printer

Hello all,

I need a little information before I proceed much further. I have a Zebra
140 XiII thermal printer. I want to use attached to a print server, a HP
Jetdirect. I would like to use this without attaching it to a PC.

Is this possible? Any directions to documentation would also be
appreciated.

Thanks
