Re: System Time?

I've had jobs submitted before my last IPL.  And that job date always 
leave me confused.  Wait, how can a job run over an IPL?  Oh, the job 
queue was held prior to the IPL and released after the IPL.  As Scott 
says, don't use the job date.

Now there really are ACTIVE jobs that do span IPL's.  Same job number 
even.  But those are special.  WRKJOB QPRTJOB created by SNDNETSPLF, etc. 
I've got several from last year and we've IPLed several times since then 
and delete all spool files over 90 days old.  The only way to reset those 
is to ENDJOB JOB(123456/USER/JOBNAME) OPTION(*IMMED) SPLFILE(*YES). 
Working as designed.
