What amount of time is 'short enough'?
If I leave my desk for 2 minutes to fill my coffee cup can someone get to
sensitive data?
If it takes me 2 minutes to look up something in a file cabinet attached
to my desk will I be incensed if my session automatically dies?

Are other security techniques in place to cover this?
If I do a Alt-Ctrl-Del/Lock Computer and turn on my password activated
screen saver while I go get my coffee cup are our security concerns
addressed? (File locks are a separate issue.)
If I use a dumb terminal with a keylock switch, and use the keylock, are
my security concerns addressed?

What about non5250 applications?
If I have a Excel session with downloaded data, or the ability to download
new data, and leave my workstation will QINACTITV address that? No.
Why do I not care about that, yet care only about 5250? Is it only
because the technology is readily and simply available?
Can I simply address this by using a password activated screen saver?

DSPSYSVAL QINACTITV *NONE
