Hi Richard,
sorry for not respnding sooner, been out of the office.
Those commands only allow the queryobjects to be manipulated, rather then
defined as within the STRQM facility, but they will be put to good use in
the overall solution I am developing though, so thanks.

James,
You can use "WRKQMQRY library/query" to go straight to the "Work with Query
Management Queries" display. Type "GO CMDQM" to see a list of the query
management commands.
Have fun!
Richard

Subject: Automatically set screen field values
Hi All,
have a situation where I would like to run the STRQM command,
automatically enter "1" in the selection field on the Menu screen and force
an <ENTER> to be performed, to get me to the Work With screen. (Ideally I
would like to set fields on the following screen as well, but one thing at
a time.)
Does anyone know if its possible to do this, is there an API out there
waiting to be used?
regards
James O'Sullivan
