I have seen threads either here on the www.Midrange.com list or on thecomp.sys.ibm.as400.misc Usenet group about how California Software Productshas in the past attempted to bill people for support for products that theynever bought (trial versions of their software) or bought and discontinuedusing.


Can you say mail fraud???  ;>)

Great news, Bill!

Until this weird circumstance, I had never heard anything but good
things about iTera.  I'm glad this isn't what it seemed to be at first
glance, and I'm really glad I was able to bring this to the surface.

I tried to call you, but we're playing tag right now.  We'll get this
straightened out.  I wonder if the other "vendor" (asymex) is as in the
dark.  This certainly paints an interesting picture of the type of
company that would recommend moving off the iSeries to Windows.

MidrangeNews has somehow grabbed one of iTera's ads (probably from

another

online publication) and slapped it into their publication. We are
investigating how we can have our ad removed at once, what their
motivation
was for commandeering one of our ads, and whether to initiate legal
action.
