So where are these green screen applications coming from that the users
must have access to? I'm having a hard time getting a sense of what
you're trying to accomplish. Did you buy a green screen package that
you now want to access, or is this a home-brewed in-house package? Do
you have source to this package? Are you making modifications? Are you
actively developing other 5250 applications? Or is this some utility
program a vendor has written and needs access to?

If all you want is secure Internet access to a 5250 application you can
get a cheap Telnet client and use SSL Telnet. Cheap, fast, secure.

If you want "zero-footprint" (no "extra" software on the client), you
can use aXes, a very simple 5250->browser conversion.

If you want to try a hybrid approach, you can use the standard edition
of my PSC/400 product, which delivers 5250 emulation via a browser-based
JSP Model II interface.
