Sorry, didn't realize you were talking GO BACKUP instead of GO SAVE.

Looks like it defaults to the first tape device it finds.

Do you actually have a TAP01?  Or is it an old device description.

If you don't actually have a TAP01, you should delete the *DEVD.

You may not be able to set the defaults.  As I understand it, GO BACKUP is 
supposed to be a simpler interface for those with little or no experience.  
Thus, not a lot of options are available.
