Within STRSQL, you can press F13 and then select option 1 (Change session
attributes). From there you can direct the results of your SELECT statement
to the display, a printer, or a file.

RUNSQLSTM doesn't have that option. If your SELECT statement is in a source
file, you could use CRTQMQRY to create a Query Management Query from the
source member and then use STRQMQRY to run the query. STRQMQRY has an OUTPUT
parameter that lets you specify * (for display), *PRINT, or *OUTFILE.
