DSPFD of both files and do a side-by-side comparison

Maybe?

Ok decided to run a little test.

Restored TPHCNT and HPPICK from a couple of weeks ago ( the current files have had their file sizes changed)
CRTDUPOBJ DATA(*NO) for both
Used DSPFD to confirm that both the file and the single member are set SIZE(10000 1000 3) for both files
CPYF MBROPT(*REPLACE).

The result:
CPA5305 - Record not added. Member TPHCNT is full. (C I 9999)
CPA3138 - Member HPPICK2 file HPPICK2 at maximum size. (C I)

Replied 'C' to cancel both. Each file ended up with 13,000 records.

Strange is it not?

Interesting difference in the job jog:

There's something different about these two files but what?

I suppose I could always call IBM.
