Brad,I am referring to direct PDF printing (in batch) from the /400. Even HP does not make many direct PDF printers. Add the requirement for medium to high speed (at least 50ppm, probably higher as the usage ramps up) and a high duty cycle (150K - 250K pages per month) and this becomes a real issue.

I would think it would be fairly painless to buy a cheapo laser/inkjet and put it on the network as well as the PDFs, thus "mimicking" an outq and attached printer.
