DNS on iSeries issue

Last week, I stated that I could not get to www.creativelyspeaking.com
unless I used the IP address.  This week the same thing is happening with
www.curbstone.com.  We have Verizon DSL and I assumed it was a DNS issue so
I called them.

If I change my PC's TCP/IP properties from "Obtain DNS server address
automatically" to "Use the following DNS server addresses:" and put in
4.2.2.1 / 4.2.2.2 it works.  But CHGTCPDMN on the iSeries already specifies
4.2.2.1 / 4.2.2.2 for DNS.

What am I missing?
