I just wondered why IBM branded/renamed the old RDBM/400 DB2 for AS400/iSeries. I have a subscrition to IBM's DB2 Magazine, but it hardly ever mentions the AS/400. I don't think that DB2 for AS400/iSeries has the same functionality/capabilities as the other flavours of DB2 mentioned (in the flyer) or covered (in the mag). Development for DB2 for AS400/iSeries is not that important for IBM, it seems. As they have done with Linux, I am waiting for them to port MySQL, as well. It is oss, thus much cheaper in maintenance.
