Starting in V5R3 you could also have used:

CHGJRNOBJ OBJ((LIB/FILENAME *FILE))
          ATR(*IMAGES)             
          IMAGES(*BOTH)            

And if you want to change the open/close behavior, the 
incantation would be:

To omit opens/closes: 
CHGJRNOBJ OBJ((LIB/FILENAME *FILE))
          ATR(*OMTJRNE)            
          OMTJRNE(*OPNCLOSYN)      
To include opens/closes:
CHGJRNOBJ OBJ((LIB/FILENAME *FILE))
          ATR(*OMTJRNE)            
          OMTJRNE(*NONE)
