Jeff -- > I am trying to set it up for a vendor dial in in place on my ECS modem. > It will let me have both lines active at the same time (separate > software vendors). I would start by reseting the modem to the Factory settings. You have to use the buttons on the front of the modem to navigate through the tree structure. You didn't indicate whether sync or async communications were being done so I am asssuming sync since that is how use I this modem. Press the left and right buttons together. The display shows <Exit Enter> Press the right button. The display shows View Only. Press the down button until you see First Setup. Press the right button. Press the down button until you see Reset to Factory Press the right button. The display shows Profiles Only. Press the right button again. Display does not change. Press the left button. All lights should flash. Continue to press left button to back out until display shows "Sync Int 9600 a" On the iSeries, you now need a *LIND that is set up for *SLDC with the autoanswer parameter set to *YES. ---------------------- Scott Scott A.
