There could be Firewall options that do this. We have the same problem using a 
3rd party warehouse.

One of our customers is having the opposite problem from 
what I was having to deal with on that public application: 
Telnet sessions time out after only a couple minutes of 
idle time.

Does anybody know anything about cause and/or cure for 
this?
