I've just been sitting on the sidelines watching this debate, but now I have a question for Steve: It seems that you started out advocating .Net as the client side (ASP instead of JSP), but keeping all the data in DB2 and the business logic on the iSeries. Then I sort of got the idea that you were for the business logic in .Net as well and now you say "use SQLServer as the sole database for .NET applications". So if my client logic is in .Net, my business logic is in .Net, and SQLServer is the sole database for .NET applications, how does this belong in midrange-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx? Lance
