I have mounted an NFS drive over a folder in my IFS Using the Following MOUNT TYPE(*NFS) MFS('DOCSERVER:/SYS/DATA') MNTOVRDIR('/DEPTS/Purchasing/POAttachments/') OPTIONS('rw,suid,retry=5,rsize=8096,wsize=8096,timeo=20,retrans=5, acregmin=30,acregmax=60,acdirmin=30,acdirmax=60,hard') This mounts the folder, I can see the things in the folder but I can't create subfolders.. There are three entries in the permissions view in Ops Nav qsecofr has all authorities including write authority *nousrprf all authorities but write (Public) who also has all authorities but write. I tried to add myself but I get the message CPFa0ad text: Function not supported by file system: com.ibm.as400.access.AS400Message@2a4488a8 Is there any way to mount an NFS file system that will allow for the creation of subfolders by anyone except qsecofr?
It sounds like the NFS server is exporting this share with restricted permissions. You need to check on the server what the permissions are.
