Re: make/Ant for application builds

Brian,

I have used Ant as a build tool on the iSeries for pretty much
everything but modules. I never did use it to create modules because
CRTRPGMOD is threadsafe *NO. That is a serious limitation since most
build processes need to run several related commands. I did consider
creating a task that would start a server job that waited for commands
on a data queue to get around this limitation but I never got to it.

nothing like a howto.
