When they smushed the iSeries into the pSeries, we lost on everything that
was AS/400 proprietary.

We had the same cable when ups connected to earlier AS400 S10.
With i5 there were ptfs and a "special" gender changer required. We
have all this, up to date as of 1 month ago.
