Hi Guys,
Say what you will about ibm's directions etc. The inescapable fact
from my
perspective is that while i have programs i wrote in 1990 still running
without change on the iSeries, I have on more than one occasion had to
re-write parts of client programs on Microsoft platforms when buying
hardware because you can't get 'that' version anymore.
I take the point that sometimes a re-write is in order - that needs to
be
MY decision, not MS. I have plenty that needs doing without re-writing
functioning code.
