>I recently Had this problem with my model 270 and removed the battery and >had batteries plus build me a new battery pack. He used the connection on my >old battery pack and charged the batteries before we put them back in the >system. This work perfectly. Had this problem with our old 270 also. Its been a while, but it was just 3-4 (pretty sure it was 3) rechargeable AA cells shrinkwrapped together. I'm not sure it they were wired series or parallel, I didn't cut it open. Nothing special though, anybody with a little skill could make up one of these easy Having a battery shop deal with it if you are unsure is always a good idea. Especially since the board this is attached to will be much more expensive to replace if it gets fried.
