Well, the iSeries can't run PC executables, so as far as "execute this .exe program from a CLLE (or RPPGLE) program" the answer is no. You could however use CLLE or RPGLE to send a command to a PC to execute to program using RUNRMTCMD. Unlike teh STRPCMD you are using, RUNRMTCMD doesn't require a 5250 session to be running on the PC. It does require a REXC daemon to be running. You can use the one that comes with iSeries Access or download a freeware one off the internet. Still, you'd have the same problems connecting back to the iSeries. It really doesn't make sense to have store the .exe file on the iSeries.
