Re: Image catalogs on V5R1?

I wouldn't make this leap. V5R1 image catalog support was slipped in by PTF just for OS upgrades. I know for example that you cannot do PTFs from them on V5R1. So I suspect attempting to do LODRUN will fail.

OS/400 doesn't see a difference.

Only catch might be if your product required multiple CD's.  Don't know if you 
can load them all as images into one catalog and have it work.

Let us know if you try it with a product that needs multiple CDs.  (not to 
mention tell us what product is that dang big! ;-)

I know this is a long shot ... but does anyone know if it's possible to 
use an image catalog on V5R1 and do LODRUN type installs?
