× The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

An IBMer off list responded to me with:

"That type of join requires a higher level of DRDA than iSeries supports. 
Websphere Info Integrator and DB2 Connect do have that level of DRDA 
support. "
