Hi midrangers,

My D04, that I still occasionally use, has an internal UPS, and the
battery is worn out.  I know, it's hard to believe.  

I've never cracked this box open, and I doubt that I can order a part
from IBM.

What can you tell me about the battery pack?  Is it something I can gin
up with bits from the 'battery patrol' store?
