I think this is a great idea.  If not particularly useful for the more
seasoned among us, it should be an interesting and fun excersise
trying to get it up to snuff.

A couple of thoughts: to speed up the process of accumulating content,
should other iseries related mail lists/boards be informed of it's
existence?  How about the trade mags?
