Ganesh: (I see this thought has been posted while I've waded through all the recent posts... ah, well...) RTVDTAARA has worked for me for at least 15 years. A "trick" I learned years ago was that the QSS1MRI data area in QUSRSYS held the VvRrMm value in positions 1-6. It's been that way on every release since probably version 1 of OS/400. What can be most useful is when this is accessed remotely through a DDM data area... lets you check what the remote system is via RTVDTAARA in a CL program. Very handy when needed.
