I have used the RTVOBJD command against the QSYS *LIB to retrieve the SYSLVL parameter as a test of OS/400 release. It returns the level of OS/400 on which the object was created but since it retrieves against QSYS *LIB it returns the OS/400 release level currently in use on the server. The SYSLVL paramter is returned formatted a VnnRnnMnn so V5R2M0 is returned as V05R02M00. RTVOBJD OBJ(QSYS) OBJTYPE(*LIB) SYSLVL(&SYSLVL) IF COND(&SYSLVL = 'V05R02M00') THEN(DO) ...
