Now I dont understand the specifics of this issue but the way the establishment is attacking the messenger makes me suspect there is a real security concern. My reaction to calling a vendor to double check if I was vulnerable to the canonical exploit and being told that the vendor had anticipated the problem and prevented the exploit would be increased regard for the vendor and confidence in the product.
