× The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.

There's an Open List of Semaphores (QP0ZOLSM) API. For mutexes you might need to use the MI instructions MATPRMTX & MATMTX, but the former works only for the job where it is called at appropriate security levels. DSPJOB does have a *MUTEX option but only has *PRINT output, of course.
