1 - Do not pick "Customized Cumulative PTF Package". Instead pick, "Groups, HIPER, Cumulative fixes". 2 - Pick just the cume. Order any groups in a second order. 3 - Make sure that the following are checked: Include all requisite ptf's, For ftp download or CD Rom media... and try that. Failing that, will this work: https://www-912.ibm.com/eserver/support/fixes/fixcentral/coermedia Rob Berendt -- Group Dekko Services, LLC Dept 01.073 PO Box 2000 Dock 108 6928N 400E Kendallville, IN 46755 http://www.dekko.com Chris Bipes <chris.bipes@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent by: midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx 05/10/2005 10:50 AM Please respond to Midrange Systems Technical Discussion <midrange-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx> To "'midrange-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx'" <midrange-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx> cc Subject Ordering Customized Cume package I am having difficulty with Management Central when ordering PTF from IBM. The central system is at V5R3 and the system I want to order the latest CUME for is at V5R2. I have connected to Management Central using OPS NAV and collected the inventory successfully. When I am at IBM's web site and input the central system all is ok. After selecting the system to create the Customized CUME for, it fails "Unable to collect inventory from Management Central." I am at a loss and cannot find any errors in the logs I am looking at. Where should I be looking? Central system or remote system? Chris Bipes Information Services Director CrossCheck, Inc.
