To add the routing entry did you do a ADDTCPRTE that was pointed to the firewall? Did the default parameters work? SOLVED 05/05/2005 12:35 PM Please respond to Midrange Systems Technical Discussion Turns out that the one thing I wasn't being told was the key: the end-user could access the Telnet server fine from inside their firewall, and the firewall was configured to let it through, but the route table on their 400 didn't have a listing for the firewall. DUH!! As soon as that oversight was corrected (and we've added it to our troubleshooting crib-sheet), Telnet worked fine. -- JHHL -- This is the Midrange Systems Technical Discussion (MIDRANGE-L) mailing list To post a message email: MIDRANGE-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/midrange-l or email: MIDRANGE-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l.
