I created a 2nd ip address for the iSeries for remote vpn access.
When users attempt to map a drive over their directory in ifs, says
"the drive could not be mapped because no network found" (a Windows msg). These
are same instructions for local users to map same drive.
\\qs1007XXc\root\home\userid
Only diff is local users use iSeries ip address 10.10.10.10 vs remote users
10.10.10.15.
Host table entries exist for each address, with same host names.
Is there any other change required for netserver to function under a 2nd local
address?
All ports are supposed to be open for vpn access.
I can use OpsNav thru vpn (as a remote user) & see ifs root directory shared.
