While the question was rhetorical, I guess this just proves
that most companies motiviation these days is the almighty
dollar, not providing assistance..

But that's just stating the obvious that the world tends to
ignore until it affects them and it's too late.

Yet another example of businesses using the goverment as a
business plan.  :)
