1 - Had a fellow spend 45 minutes looking at a CL program in SEU and
couldn't find the problem. Since WDSC is color coded I pulled it up in
there and found the problem instantly. The following sticks out more as a
comment:
/* +
MYCOMMAND SAVEWORLD(*YES) FEEDHUNGRY(*YES) PLEASEGOD(*ALWAYS)  +
*/

2 - The online help is outstanding.

3 - More than 24 or 27 lines per screen.

4 - Can copy/paste more than a screen at a time from code into an email
(like this list)

5 - Numerous wizards for things like creating subprocedures.

6 - Tools in there to automatically convert code to free format.

7 - RLU was despised by most. The print file utility in WDSC ain't bad.

Don't try to use SEU commands on it like I for insert, C for copy. Use it
like you would use Windows based applications and you'll be much more
productive.

Subject
Advantages to using Websphere editor

HI I am interested in what the benefits are to using the Websphere editor
over SEU, for RPG & CL, in your experience.

Thank you,
