Option 11 just prompts you for the SAV command. You need to fill out this
command properly (not trivial), so as to save what you want, and not what
  you don't want.

I want to save just the objects in directories on an 810 v5r2. Each night
we save data libraries only but our documents are stored in these
directories. We use the DTM product..I want to save the libraries then
"leave" the tape, run our daily work, then save the directories..Does
option 11 from the go save menu accomplish this and does it put the system
in a restricted state (even though noone will accessing it at the time) ?
