Relinking to a different service program

I have a vendor supplied program.  It is currently linked to an older 
supplied Lotus service program.  I need to get it linked to a newer Lotus 
service program.  Granted, the vendor rushed me out a new program 
overnight.  But I was just curious.  Providing the interfaces were the 
same is there anyway to change

Translated from hex the signature goes from LNCPP23 to LNCPP30.  That is 
the only signature that shows up in
DSPSRVPGM SRVPGM(QNOTESCPP/LNCPP30) DETAIL(*SIGNATURE)
