How is your date stored? MMDDYYYY or YYYYMMDD. Do you have the edit codes embedded? MM/DD/YYYY? It appears to me that since you have quotes around the date with the "/", then IHDINVDATE must be a character field. Now if that is the case, you might try to redefine the field and do a selection on that. -----Original Message----- From: midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of dpalme@xxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Thursday, April 21, 2005 2:20 PM To: Mid Range List Subject: Logical file COMP designation I need to setup a LF that has multiple COMP designations and I am not quite sure how to position it within the SEU. What I need to do is a date range for 02/01/2005 through 01/31/2006 I thought I could do something like A S IHDINVDATE COMP(GT '02/01/2005' AND LT A '01/31/2006') But that doesn't work. Suggestions? All of the manuals I have do not give examples or instructions on making multiple comparison statements within the dds. -- This is the Midrange Systems Technical Discussion (MIDRANGE-L) mailing list To post a message email: MIDRANGE-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/midrange-l or email: MIDRANGE-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l.
