You have a couple of options. If you have a V4R5 or V5R1 machine around,
you can compile to V4R5 on the V5R2 machine, save to a save file with
TGTRLS(V4R5M0), transmit the save file to the V4R5 or V5R1 machine, restore
the program, save to another save file using TGTRLS(V4R4M0), transmit that
save file to the V4R4 machine, and then restore the program. All this
assumes there are no language features being used in the program that were
not available in V4R4.

Another option is to send the source member to the V4R4 machine and compile
it there, assuming you have the compilers on that system.

Hope that helps.

Is there any way to circumvent the "2 previous release" limitation and move
a V5R2 source member to a V4R4 machine?
