system value is QPWDEXPITV and at signon it starts warning 7 days before. This value can be overridden within each user profile. btw - don't let the execs talk you into disabling the expiration for them....their passwords are usually the easiest to guess. jim QPWDEXPITV - Help Password expiration interval. Specifies the number of days for which passwords are valid. This provides password security by requiring users to change their passwords after a specified number of days. If the password is not changed within the specified number of days, the user cannot sign-on until the password is changed. Seven days before the password ends, you are warned at sign-on time, even if you are not displaying sign-on information (the system value QDSPSGNINF). ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ritsema, Doug B" <Doug.Ritsema@xxxxxxxxx> To: "'Midrange Systems Technical Discussion'" <midrange-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, April 20, 2005 9:27 AM Subject: RE: Auto Password change System value > Our system warns the user 7 days before it expires.
