What version of the operating system are you running on? These did not get to the iSeries until a fairly recent release, maybe V5R2 - ahhhh, I found the info - the library can be put on V5R1 with a PTF. Here's a part of the page at <http://www-1.ibm.com/servers/eserver/iseries/db2/udbcatalog.html>

Beginning with V5R2, the iSeries supports a new set of catalog views and tables for ODBC & JDBC clients in the SYSIBM library. These database catalogs are supported by the entire DB2 UDB Family. This new set of database catalogs will make it much easier for ODBC and JDBC-based tool vendors to support the entire DB2 UDB Family.

PTFs are now available to make these catalogs available on V5R1 systems. These new catalog views and tables are created in SYSIBM for compatibility with the other DB2 UDB products. The catalog views and tables found in QSYS2 will continue to be supported. Here is V5R1 PTF Information (the new SYSIBM library is part of the V5R2 GA code):
V5R1 : 5722SS1 SI04582

Hi

I am using the following Query in STRSQL

SELECT current timestamp FROM SYSIBM.SYSDUMMY1.

But i am getting the error as such there is no table exist as SYSIBM.SYSDUMMY1.
Also while using an other query with the system tables such as SYSIBM.SYSRELS and SYSIBM.SYSFOREIGNKEYS , i am getting same kind of error.
I know these are the table hold the system details in DB2.
Could anyone tell the corresponding table in DB2/400?.

Any pointer for this could also be helpful.

Thanks,
Siva
