Star SQL ODBC not seeing new field length

Using Star SQL to insert a record to a table on the AS400.  Field length
for one of the fields in the file changed from 35 characters to 250.  Test
inserts using Star SQL work as long as string to field is 35 characters or
less.  Test inserts to same file using Access connection via ODBC allows
for more than 35 characters to 250 length field.  AS400 has been through
two IPLs since the file specs were changed.
This happened once before on a similar file a couple of years ago, but the
problem went away after the scheduled weekly IPL.
