I got away from the "Print screen" because the pictures made the files so big. I like to paste the text into a text box. It keeps the screen together and I can format it as courier and preserve the formatting. As far as a macro, could you be talking about the "copy append"? I haven't used it yet but I remember some discussion about it. Just "edit paste" or "ctrl-v" into a Word doc. > -----Original Message----- > From: ron_adams@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:ron_adams@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx] > Sent: Monday, April 11, 2005 9:55 AM > To: Midrange Systems Technical Discussion > Subject: Screen Capture Macro/Utility to Word > > A few years back I saw a discussion thread on one of the iSeries boards > regarding a Macro to capture screens with attributes (underlines) to a > Word document. > > Does anybody remember this, and maybe have a copy of it or something > similar? > > What I need is a way to capture and document the screens of some new > programs and put them into a Word Document. > > TIA, > > Ron Adams > -- > This is the Midrange Systems Technical Discussion (MIDRANGE-L) mailing > list To post a message email: MIDRANGE-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, > unsubscribe, or change list options, > visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/midrange-l > or email: MIDRANGE-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take > a moment to review the archives at > http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l. -- This is the Midrange Systems Technical Discussion (MIDRANGE-L) mailing list To post a message email: MIDRANGE-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/midrange-l or email: MIDRANGE-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l.
